Tarina Patel: Tarina Patel is a South African film producer, actress, and founder of Tarina P Productions, a company committed to crafting authentic, socially impactful, and globally resonant stories. Her work merges creative excellence with purpose—amplifying underrepresented voices, exploring complex histories, and connecting audiences across continents. Beginning her career in India as a celebrated Bollywood actress and model, Tarina appeared in multiple acclaimed films before returning to South Africa to expand her creative footprint. Her deep understanding of storytelling across cultures has shaped her evolution into a visionary producer dedicated to telling meaningful, world-class African stories.
Robin de Jager: Robin de Jager is a South African filmmaker, creative producer, and subculture curator known for his bold, thought-provoking, and emotionally resonant storytelling. His work explores South Africa’s hidden countercultures, queer identities, and the intersection of digital media and film within Africa’s socio-political landscape. With a Fine Arts background and a Master’s in Film from the University of the Witwatersrand, Robin’s approach combines conceptual artistry with a rigorous understanding of production. His research focuses on “dissecting the misfit archetype within post-colonial South African cinema” — a theme that continues to inform his creative work across narrative, documentary, and branded content.
